An Announcement
I'm starting a podcast!
As most of you know, I love reading. I love the act of engaging with a piece of great literature and doing my best to understand it, wrestle with it, disagree with it, and extract wisdom from these timeless texts. It’s an act I will always love and one that will always hold a special place in my heart.
And so, I decided about a month ago to start a podcast where I can discuss the lessons I’ve learned from my favorite books. The hope is to spread my love and enthusiasm for literature to those who need it. The beautiful thing about literature is that, with the right frame of mind, anyone can benefit from it. Literature saved me, in so many ways, and it’s the reason I am who I am. And I want to spread that love to the world that pretends it doesn’t need books anymore. We need books. We will always need books. Books are faithful to us, immortal beings; they’re a place we can feel safe, a place where we can depart from the world and return to the world stronger and wiser. Literature has passed through wars, massacres, chaos and peace, and will pass through all of human history, and the integrity of its soul will stay strong.
